What is a cooling neck ring?

It is a soft, stretchy ring you chill and wear around your neck to stay cool. Inside is a phase change material (PCM) gel that holds a steady, comfortable temperature against your skin for hours. People also call it a neck cooler, a cooling neck wrap, or a neck cooling tube.

How does it work?

The PCM gel solidifies when it gets below 64 degrees Fahrenheit. As it slowly softens against your skin it pulls heat away and holds an even cool. The neck is a smart place to wear it because major blood vessels sit close to the surface there.

How long does it stay cool?

Roughly one to two hours per charge. Heat, humidity, and how active you are all change that, so think of it as a guide rather than a fixed number.

Do I need a freezer?

No. Anything below 64 degrees works. About 20 minutes in the freezer, 10 minutes under cold tap water, or some time near an AC vent will all recharge it.

Will it drip or make my shirt wet?

No. The gel is sealed inside the ring, so there is no condensation and nothing soaks your collar.

Is the small bubble inside normal?

Yes. A little air bubble gives the gel room to expand as it freezes. It is part of the design, not a defect.

How cold does it get? Can it cause frostbite?

It feels cool and refreshing, not icy. Because it settles at its melt point, it cannot get cold enough to cause frostbite, which makes it comfortable for long wear.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes, with normal adult supervision. It is gentle, has no batteries, and cannot get dangerously cold. Please keep packaging away from small children.

Does it help with hot flashes?

Many people use it for fast, hands-free relief during hot flashes and night sweats. It is for comfort and is not a treatment for menopause, so please talk with your doctor about persistent or severe symptoms.

How do I clean and store it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. Store it anywhere. For the quickest start on a hot day, keep one in the freezer or fridge so a cool one is always ready.
